Tack v0.20.0: Our Privacy Commitment, In Writing

Tack
Tack Team

Version 0.20.0 formalizes something that has shaped Tack's architecture from the start: meetings are sensitive, and the systems that carry them must be accountable. Our privacy policy is now published at tack — privacy, written in plain language for the people whose conversations we're trusted with.

Stated Plainly

  • Audio Is Ephemeral: Meeting audio is processed for live transcription and discarded — recordings are not retained on our infrastructure.
  • Your Content Stays Yours: We never sell data, and meeting content is never used to train AI models.
  • Sanitized Sharing: The policy documents what shared links deliberately exclude — raw transcripts, diarized segments, and speaker identities remain reserved for the meeting owner.
  • Full Provider Transparency: Every processor that touches meeting data is named, along with exactly what each receives.

A Standing Commitment

Pioneers can request access, correction, or deletion of their data at any time, with a 30-day completion guarantee. As the Closed Beta progresses, these commitments graduate into the product itself — self-serve controls, retention calibration, and a dedicated security overview.
